Final thoughts on choosing the right litter box for your cat. We decided to get the litter robot for our feline friends. While introducing the new box it was recommended to keep the old box nearby. We decided to a do a cold turkey switchover because I knew my old cat Treble Clef was going to be resistant to the change. First impression was that he was terrified of the fact that the robot turned on and off. Atlas, the kitten immediately jumped into the box and started to use it frequently. He was using the litter robot so much that he found joy at kicking the litter out of the box gleefully. Atlas also liked to pop his head in when the box was in cleaning mode, this caused the cleaning mode to stop immediately. It took about a week for the novelty of the new box to wear off. Meanwhile Treble clef left me a loud and clear message by peeing on my bed. I knew this message was going to be repeated if I did not take immediate action. I have never changed a bed so fast in my life and am so thankful for mattress covers! I then decided both cats needed a day or two to get more acquainted with the litter robot. With in three days both cats began using the litter robot with zero problems. The life changing litter robot has made me love the fact the cats are indoor cats.
